1. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo:
Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara star in this Swedish film remake. It’s also a best-selling novel. Don’t let the name fool you. This movie is murder solving movie. It’s about a journalist (Craig) who gets recruited to help a rich man solve a murder of one of his family member. He agrees, but when things get complicated he enlists in the help of a research analysis named Lisbeth Salander (Mara). The two then team up and try and track down a killer.
2. Young Adult:
Charlize Theron stars a writer who moves back to her home town after her divorce to get back her old high school flame back. The catch? He’s already married with a baby on the way. It’s a story about how we all get older, but some of us don’t grow up.
3. The Descendants:
George Clooney stars as a Matt King, a man whose life just got complicated. His wife in a coma and is told that she is not going to recover and that he must pull the plug on her. His oldest daughter, Alexandria, complicates things even more when she tells him that their mother was cheating on him. King tries to track down the guy his wife cheated on him with, with the help of Alexandria, while also trying to figure out how to tell his youngest daughter, Scottie, that their mother is going to die.
4. Sherlock Holmes 2: Game of Shadows
Robert Downey Jr. is back as Sherlock Holmes. This time, Sherlock is after his arch nemesis Moriarty, who is evenly matched and equally as smart as Holmes.
5. Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol
Tom Cruise is back as Ethan Hunt again. This time the IMF is shut down and he and his rogue team must go undercover to try and clear their organization’s name.
